Private Duty
What is Private Duty Nursing?
Private duty nursing, also known as private pay nursing or home health nursing, is a specialized form of healthcare service in which a registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN) provides one-on-one medical care to an individual in a private setting, such as the patient's home. Our Private duty nurses offer personalized and comprehensive care tailored to the specific needs of each of our patients.

Private duty nursing services can include a wide range of medical care and support, such as administering medications, monitoring vital signs, managing medical equipment, providing wound care, assisting with activities of daily living, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals. Our Private duty nurses offer specialized care for individuals with complex medical conditions or disabilities that require ongoing attention and assistance.

WHAT IS GAPP SERVICES?
Georgia Pediatric Program
At A Loving Choice Healthcare, we understand that caring for a child with complex medical or daily living needs can require additional support for the entire family. The Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP) helps connect eligible children and young adults with in-home care and nursing services designed around their individual needs.
Through GAPP, eligible children may receive assistance with everyday activities such as feeding, bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, and medication support, as well as specialized care for children with more complex medical needs. Depending on the child's approved plan of care, services may include tracheostomy (Trach) care, G-tube care and feedings, respiratory support, and other skilled nursing services.
